Anastrozole Dosage and Daily SubQ

I have a question for daily SubQ members using anastrozole and their dosages/timing. I have been doing daily SubQ at test cyp. 20mg for three months total. I started TRT in May 2018 at 200 mg test cyp. IM every 10 days and noticed high e2 symptoms 6 weeks into therapy. I researched options to control e2 and came across frequent dosing may help maintain/control estrogen levels. I changed my protocol to subQ daily in hopes of lowering e2 levels. My e2 level from a sensitive assay was at 42 on September 11. Doctor prescribed Anastrozole at .5mg once a week. Took first dose and two days later I felt almost symptom free for the next 4 weeks. Symptoms returned two days after my dose on the fourth week, low libido, depressed/mood swings. Thinking my levels possibly dropped too low I returned to the doctor to have more blood work. E2 had risen to 50. This test was done on the day I should have taken my next dose of anastrozole, which would possibly suggest the increased level. Question is if doing daily injections should I also adjust anastrozole dosage and timing to be more effective in controlling e2 levels? Possibly lower my test dosage as well to assist in less aromatization? Thanks for any feedback.

Have you thought about lower your dose of testosterone, most members that do daily he just 16 mg daily. Any chance you could post all your laps?

.5mg once per week is a ridiculous dose, Anastrozole has an appx half-life of just 48hrs. Id suggest .25mg twice per week, for starters. COnsider reducing your dose only if your Free T is over the lab range. Though your SHBG needs to be known and should be the driver on most all of this.

Yes, I have considered lowering to that particular dosing of 16 mg. The results attached are labs prior to treatment, after and current

I would try splitting up your anastrozole into 2x per week. Like .25 M & Th.

I appreciate your responses gentlemen. I'm going to adjust to 16mg daily and split dose the Anastrozole. Hopefully the AI will become unnecessary over time. Thanks again.

ABout all you do with a good pill splitter and 1mg tablet is cut it in 1/4's or .25mg sections. Less than that can't be reliably done. You can make a liquid with Vodka and dissolving the tablets but I thought I had too much waste when I've done that but does allow you to dose what ever amount you might need, <.25mg
