I had previously tried a multi-month Clomid restart that gave me some good days punctuated with very bad days(mood swings, acne, irritability, etc). After the cessation of the restart protocol, my levels crashed a bit lower than they were pre-clomid.
Im now exactly 2 weeks into my new TRT regimen with Defy on a Monday morning/Thursday evening Test-Cyp/HCG schedule and I cannot begin to explain how transformative this treatment is already making me feel, even though we are at the very early stages of what likely will be a life-long marathon.
I went to work, as in physically visited my office Wednesday afternoon, for the first time in many weeks and put in a solid 4 hours of work. Thursday, I was in the office all day and was able to work and attack problems like I haven't been able to in many many months. My mood is extremely positive, so much so that my wife asked me if I was sleeping with someone on the side (side note, id historically exhibit great moods after sex but it only lasted 24 hrs and then back to the dumps i went...). I laughed, said no, why would you ask? "This entire week you have been happier than Ive seen you in months. Smiling, laughing, conversing. And we haven't had sex in over a week!" My sleep quality is also markedly improved, yet I don't feel the need to take my melatonin. Initially she was concerned with my protocol change, having been inundated with the negative views of testosterone and stories of roid-rage from the media. Her comments now are a complete 180.
I realize its still early days, but am hoping/praying that this positive trend continues to the 4th/6th week and beyond. I feel like some significant mental/emotional/physical clouds are parting, and am truly appreciative of the efforts of Dr Saya and Dr Crisler and the rest of the fine folks at Defy.
