I developed pulsating tinnitus about 7 years ago - sounds like someone walking through snow and drove me crazy at times - while it sometimes comes back every now and then it has greatly reduced to point I go days/weeks without it since starting TRT.

I don’t think UK has the sensitive estrogen test. I’d recommended Dr Stevens - he posts on this board from time to time. UK based doctor who runs a clinic in Doreset. Usual protocol is 62.5mg test E twice a week, AI not usually needed with HCG added on top.

I had option of splitting them to 2 injections but decided to try the whole 1ml every 10 days and this works well for me.

Hi Nelson - not sure if you will see this but I think I read you used Sustanon back in the day and was quite a fan of it. Sustanon gets a lot of bad press in TRT circles due to it having 4 different time release eaters to it. Just wondering how you used it and how it compared to single ester...

Interesting point that if SHBG is high the body will increase Testosterone to try and compensate. In the UK proviron can be used to bring down SHBG however it would be hard to get the NHS to understand any of it. I agree going private would be best bet.

I have read conflicting views on this. Some say anastrozole is really bad for lipids and others say there is nothing inherit in the drug itself but a by product of lowering estrogen to much which causes lipids to come back not good. Also most studies are referenced on women at 1mg per day. Does...

Thanks guys all very helpful. It's very strange as I took arimdex at 1mg a day for a month when younger for gyno (dr prescribed) and didn't notice any real mental changes (my natural T doubled). Yet on actual TRT I appear to have had an awful reaction.

I will hopefully be in America (either New York or Florida) next year so I might see if I can get a sensitive test done while there. In mean time I am going to look into splitting by dose so I have smaller more frequent injections and stay off the arimdex.

That's a shame not really sure what my options are then. I am trying to lose as much fat as I can and get to lean levels - I suspect once I have achieved that I would be best splitting my trt dose up to twice a week(and dropping the AI) but smaller doses) that will hopefully give me the best...

I had high estrogen levels and started taking arimdex - 0.25mg every 3rd day. I have become really angry while on it, starting to fall out with people and create arguments. I am due for blood work soon and would be surprised if my levels are low (prob about 30)....is there any link?

I am sure Dr Rand would adjust if his estrogen crashed. Dr Rand sees thousands of TRT guys so just can't imagine he is guessing at this. On the other hand lots of guys with personal experience saying it's not good. For what it's worth about 10 years ago I developed gyno due to low test levels...

Rand is a well respected doctor in this field. on his you tube videos he says he is more aggressive with his estrogen management than some other doctors however he isn't trying to eliminate estrogen but keep it 15-20. He sees enough guys to know what works and what doesn't.

Sustanon works fine as long as it's used correctly.

I can kind of relate to what your experiencing, 1ml of Sustanon can have a peak of around 70nmol ( 2000 in us format)after 24-48 hrs

The range I think was 8.4 - 27 nmol, I couldn't face fighting them. Also for something like TRT I don't trust their system - if they did perscribe there would be no thought involved and would just be a cookie cutter approach in my opinion. I'd much prefer to go private to a progressive forward...

Had no luck with NHS for over a decade. My test levels were 9.5 in my 20s and same in my mid 30s. Dr Stevens sounds very progressive and up to date with TRT methods from his web site.

If someone was 20% body fat and then went down to 10% would the amount of T converting E significantly be reduced? I ask as I do appear to be converting a fair bit to estrogen but I do have about 20% - 25% body fat
