Hey yall, I’m. 21 yr old college student. I wouldn’t say I’m very fit I’m on the more overweight side (6’ 265) I’ve been taking Reta for a 2 weeks now. First week went well I felt the full effects of it doing 500 mcgs once every 3 days. I’ve now moved up to doing 1mg injection once a week and I don’t really feel th effects of it anymore, my food noise has slowly crept back in and my appetite isn’t that suppressed anymore. When I do eat I focus on mainly fats and protein and try to avoid carbs as I drink every so often. I wanted to know if anyone has advice for me on dosage, lifestyle changes or anything else. Appreciate it!

0.5mcgs e3d is more than 1mg per week. My advice on dosing: inject at least twice per week and increase dosis until you feel the food noise/appetite suppression.

You seem like a very pleasant young guy, so I don't want to appear critical or mean when I say that you should explore lifestyle changes before screwing with your body chemistry, especially when you're only 21 years old. It's wise to view the body as a temple that has the innate ability to heal and cure what ails it, providing that it gets the right direction from the mind. Yes, it's true, that some people have compromised physicality that may only respond to medications, but they are in the minority; you probably don't fit that category.

If you don't have a malady of some kind . . . then consider the following. "Turning a new leaf" is hard and it takes discipline. I'd venture to say that - like many, many people - you know what you should do, you're just too lazy to do it. I'm not being critical, I'm certain that most of us have been there. If you were my son, I'd suggest joining a gym and surrounding yourself with health conscious people. Failing that you could attack more directly the real issue, a lack of discipline, by joining the army or taking the year off to work a very physically demanding occupation like construction or in a logging camp. It's likely that you wouldn't recognize yourself after that year.
