Sensitive arrays are, unfortunately, not available in Switzerland.
I did a regular E2 test with a ref range of 41-159 pmol/l.
My last 5 measurements, taken across roughly 2 months, came out as:
<18 (below threshold)
<18 (below threshold)
<18 (below threshold)
<18 (below threshold)
31 (below...
Hi all, my endo recently made a statement that I believe to be completely untrue, but I need some "proof".
What he said was - "your low E" (pre-TRT and with my initial protocol I had levels that were BELOW what the lab can even measure) "is because you're getting too much test, and that's why...
Hi guys, I've started my TRT about 2 months back, with a hard restart about 3 weeks ago.
So far, I'm doing good - no sides, feeling well.
I was just wondering - am I too happy too early?
At what point do sides (e.g. gyno issues / E2 related issues) usually show in the treatment process?
Or...
On a completely unrelated side note, Dorian Yates, who was Mr. Olympia 6 times, published his steroid cycle in a magazine many years back - he's always been very open about his steroid use.
He was using (if I remember correctly) something like 350mg pre-contest and 750mg off-season (of course...
Hi guys, I usually do "deep" IM (with a roughly 20mm / 6/8" needle in 25G) into my quads. I do this ED, alternating between 16 sites (2 "lines" of 4 spots in the "available middle outer third" of each quad). Never any issues, little bit of a sting when entering (I do it slowly) but apart from a...
Would be interesting to know if "higher" doses mean standard TRT doses (let's say, >250mg/week) or if we're talking the obscene gram-a-week- doses some bodybuilders abuse...
Hi guys, I live in Europe / Switzerland and the docs I've asked have never heard of a "sensitive" Estradiol test. I've read on the forums that over here in Europe, the test doesn't seem to be very common.
What should I do in order to manage my Estradiol properly? Are there any rule of thumbs...
Hi all, just wanted to check on another statement of my (pretty useless) endo -
he said, a big risk of taking testosterone is receptor desensitization, and as with any other drug "you'll need to increase doses the longer you take it".
Never heard of it and don't believe it - but just to...
makes sense... was just hoping that... well, there's a need for everything, so usually there is someone, somewhere, producing the things that might be a bit unusual. Doesn't seem like it in this case :) Maybe I'll give 1/2" shallow IM a try. and just draw out the rest with a regular 1cc + longer...
Thanks guys - I totally see what you mean, unfortunately where I live (Switzerland) to find a doc willing to prescribe TRT is almost impossible, so it was better than nothing. For the moment, the family member is prescribing me (but only because I was diagnosed with hypogonadism by the endo)...
What my wonderful endo gave me (3cc, 21g 1.5”) vs what I’m using now (1cc, 25g 0.8”)
♂️
I haven't found syringes with less than 1cc that do NOT have a fixed needle attached (would rather use .5cc or even .3cc syringes for more precise measuring), and I also haven't found .5 or .3 insulin...
