Hi everyone...

Need to see what the group has to say...

i am in my first week of trt. 70mg Tcyp, SubQ, E3D (Mon am, thurs pm) & 400iu HCG 2xWeek. Yesterday i shot both in the am and felt great throughout the day...markedly great. Today though is a whole different story. I am foggy as hell. Eyes feel tired...feel stoned.
I am going to switch my HCG to Sun and Wed, i think, after reading a lot of threads on the subject. Is this pretty normal for one starting out on the trt journey? I know it is literally the first week...do i just roll with it for a bit and see how it plays out?

Any experience you could share would be greatly appreciated.

thnx

I do not like the combination of T and HCG, I did it once and had a bad experience of about 24hrs of just being a moody and sullen, b*itch. I did that once and never again. Now I do do fine in that regard splitting putting them at least 12hrs apart. There's much trial and error you'll go thru, there's no one way to do things.
My bad experience was 50mg TCYP and 500iu HCG, concurrently (not in the same syringe).

Some people put too much thought into such matters of mood and injection timing. For the most part it's all in your head and doing frequent small injections like being discussed here is not the culprit. Those injection frequencies and amounts are not it. Levels are pretty stable there.

Be mindful that it takes a good 4 weeks (some would say 6) to get stable on your TRT protocol so having an off day in week one is no red flag. It could be as simple as your body fighting off the latest bug going around or something. If the feeling persists for days or weeks then a call to your doc could be in order.

Not every physical response a patient on TRT notices is related to their TRT protocol. In the early days, most of us were remarkably sensitive to how we felt. Give it time.

It could also be, your body adjusting to your new testosterone levels. I inject t and HCG together at the same time.
I use 80mg of testosterone cypionate and 500iu of hcg every 3 1/2 days - no AI

testosterone, serum 1059ng/dl 348-1197
free testosterone direct 28.9 pg/mL 6.6-18.1
dhea-sulate 214.9 ug/dL 48.9-344.2
estradiol, seneitive 27.3 pg/mL 8.0-35.0

thanks for the quick replies! Feeling better today. Injected hcg this morning and feel just a touch foggy..not like yesterday where it was directly affecting my day. Looking forward to keeping on this path and seeing what happens. Already in one week...appetite has come back (with a vengeance). Feeling inspired to get into the gym as well and start working our again. From what i've read, libido is on its way hopefully :) Feeling hopeful.

thanks again guys

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
