Finding this medication is difficult outside of an online clinic. I am looking for a pharmacy that sells it directly. Prices and availability seem to be hidden on this medication.
Is anyone getting Kyzatrex prescribed? Where? How much do you pay?
This doesn't seem to be true. Google reveals at least a couple pharmacies (DiRX and Healthwarehouse) that sell it. Others do too as well but they don't disclose that on their website and of course they never tell you the price until you already have a prescription on file.Marius Pharmaceuticals the company that markets/supplies Kyzatrex only works with a small select group of pharmacies and there are only 2 options for getting a prescription which would be through select practitioners/men's health clinics or Telemedicine providers which work with these pharmacies.

What I am wondering is where those meds ordered by mens health clinics are coming from. My PCP will (can) order directly.

That is not a bad price i don't think, I pay the same at Marley Drug which to my knowledge only serves NC but the price is the same. 160$ covers me for two months and thats with them delivering within 1-2 business days.Hello,
I am wondering what you have discovered regarding obtaining Kyzatrex. Is Dirx the best price? Currently I believe they are asking $159 for 120 ct. (200mg). Empower told me they are out of stock and unsure when they would have more.
You can't beat $80 a month. How are you liking the Kyzatrex? Any atrophy or issues with hair loss? I hope to start next week. That is not a bad price i don't think, I pay the same at Marley Drug which to my knowledge only serves NC but the price is the same. 160$ covers me for two months and thats with them delivering within 1-2 business days.
No big issues to me, hair loss has been minimal from my time on test cypionate and now kyzatrex. You can't beat $80 a month. How are you liking the Kyzatrex? Any atrophy or issues with hair loss? I hope to start next week.
Very good information. Any tips about Kyzatrex? BTW, I'm retired PD, so I remember the awful midnight shift years. It was awful and undoubtedly took years off my life.No big issues to me, hair loss has been minimal from my time on test cypionate and now kyzatrex.
The only real complaint I have from Kyzatrex is I notice my joints/inflammation is worse than on test cypionate. Idk why that is but it sort of sucks some days. Mood and mental well being is markedly better than my time on test cypionate, i felt absolutely wired/fried mentally all the time on test cypionate I do not feel like that at all ok Kyzatrex. Libido is has improved ever so slightly. I really think my libido is tied to sleep quality in more ways than I’d care to admit but with my career sleep sucks sometimes. I got labs coming up soon so I’ll hopefully have an idea of something to compare.
Nice congrats on retirement!Very good information. Any tips about Kyzatrex? BTW, I'm retired PD, so I remember the awful midnight shift years. It was awful and undoubtedly took years off my life.
Thank you sir, and be SAFE!Nice congrats on retirement!
I'd say undoubtedly the hardest thing for me is taking it with food, my doctor who prescribed it said I'm not doing myself any good at all if i don't take it with food. So my best guess is it has to have food for absorption somehow. To me that's rough because I hate eating big meals or even anything when I first wake up and I try to be up by 5:30-6am every day I work and 7am on days i'm off. I usually take my 2nd dose around noon or shortly after, I also see some folks complain about burps and after taste but i haven't had much of that unless I didn't take it with enough food. It's still probably too early to tell long term benefits for me but short term has been an improvement over test cyp.
Fatigue, mood, energy have improved quite a bit from where I was, if my libido was 100% fixed I would have zero complaints.
Happy New Year

Little update - went back to the original endocrinologist today. He reviewed my lab work from the last year and gave me some options. Basically he said I could come off testosterone for a while and let my receptors cleanse themselves. I asked about Kyzatrex and he said he has seen good success with it, just as good if not better than injections, but I needed to be prepared for a price increase over injections.
He told me to skip this weeks dose of test cypionate to down regulate a bit and then start Kyzatrex next week whenever it came in the mail.
Kyzatrex for 12 weeks and then...
I think i'm going to be going back to injections at some point in the near future. The Kyzatrex works well but even as cash pay its cost prohibitive. Lab work on the 150 mg x2 daily my levels came back pretty low ( ie 236 total test ) My doctor is upping my dose to 800mg daily which also changes my cost to $180 a month, which is sort of getting a bit pricey at least to me.
My doctor told me to finish out the medication and when I see him in a few weeks to let him know which way I would like to proceed, he would help me in anyway he could.
The only real downside I saw to Kyzatrex was the joint aches and pains have increased ten fold for me which is also a bit of a bummer.
I would certainly say for folks who can afford Kyzatrex or any of the oral TU give it a try it can certainly work for some folks.
Yup, I'm not disagreeing at all! I had no idea until my labs came back, mentally I felt quite good. My joints and back felt like I had a month long flu though and I was healthy except for that. As you mentioned above a lot of folks give the towel to quick with oral TU and i'm trying not to,Hard to believe you would have felt any beneficials effects as your T level is ridiculously low as in hypogonadal.
No way it was working well here.
If you are hitting an absurdly low peak TT 236 ng/dL then your peak FT would be dismal which means you are having issues with absorption and even then your starting dose is too low.
The standard starting dose is 200 mg BID not 150 mg.
Some men will hit stellar peak levels on the standard starting dose whereas many others will need 300-400 mg BID to achieve such.
I have stressed this numerous times on the forum.
No way you would be able to give this a fair shake unless you were absorbing the medication and hitting a healthy peak FT.
As you stated previously you were having a hard time taking the capsules with a meal which is critical.
Your issue with joint aches/pains most likely has to do with your T levels being tanked!
You would need to try the higher dose and always make sure it is taken with a meal that has some fat before throwing in the towel if you truly wanted see how you will feel on oral T but seeing as you were having a hard time taking in food with the capsules and the higher cost of increasing your daily dose then just go back to injections.

We found a different pharmacy for Kyzatrex called EpiqScripts, the cost came down quite considerably from where I was at. He wrote the new Rx for max dosage of 800 mg daily and a 90 day supply.
I'm hopeful I don't need the max dose to be in therapeutic range as a lesser dose would also be cheaper. You're also correct absorption has probably been problematic, last few days i've eaten avocado and eggs and toast with each morning dose and I feel pretty good. I
As always thanks for the feedback
I do agree!Your doctor clearly has no experience here as I told you steady-state will be achieved within a week so he should have tested your peak TT/FT and estradiol 7 days after starting.
You would have known off the hop that you were not responding and the dose would have been increased.
Unfortunately you wasted a month running around with dismal T levels.
I do agree!
Thats the game plan, the new pharmacy comes to 135$ a month for the 90 day cost. Not terrible but i'm hoping i can stretch that some by a lesser dose. I'm currently taking 600mg daily to use the rest of my 150mg pills up. Libido has suddenly seemed to increase in just the last 3 days i'm hopeful that my joint pain goes away and then all will be well.Glad to hear you are trying the higher dose just make it a priority to take each dose with a small meal that has some fat as this can easily make or break the effectiveness of the protocol.
Even if you end up hitting a very high peak I would not fret here as it will be a daily fairly short-lived peaked which is far cry from running supra-physiological levels 24/7 steady-state.
Just make sure that you get blood work done 7 days after starting so you can see where your levels are at as the goal here is to hit a healthy peak T.
If you hit stellar levels then give it a few months to truly gauge how you feel overall especially with the 2 daily peak/troughs.
If it turns out that you are still having issues with absorption then you can bail out quick and jump back on injections.

I've seen user reports of people being on the 800mg daily and it gets them well over 2000TT. I don't need that much imo nor do i want to feel amped up like that again. My nervous system seems to have finally reset after coming off of injections. Oddly testicle size has increased some on Kyzatrex ( I guess its the non therapeutic dose lol)
I was going to give HCG a go but I have my doubts about the efficacy of the brand I bought so I have since thrown that out. I can reach out to my PCP and ask for lab work again I don't think she would mind.
It seems finding doctors that actually read the prescriber information and print out of drugs is few and far between.
