Have you tried any CGM glucose monitors ?

There are several CGM glucose monitors available in the US, including:
- Dexcom G6[1][2]
- Abbott FreeStyle Libre[1][2]
- Eversense[3]
- Medtronic Guardian Connect[4]
- Nutisense

The monthly costs for these monitors vary depending on factors such as insurance coverage and subscription plans. The cost of CGM programs can range from $134 to $399 per month[5], and the total yearly cost can range from $1,000 to $3,000[1]. The cost of FreeStyle Libre sensors can be as low as $75 per month when paying cash[2].

I tried the Freestyle 18 months ago for a couple of weeks just to see what I could learn. My doctor who is a friend just laughed said nothing to learn there given such a clean low carb diet! I would like to try the Dexcom next time. I think they have a new G7 out now. The freestyle seemed cheap to me.

I mean everything was a very tight range given I just do not eat anything sugar for most part. I have a 4.9 A1c and usually 80 fasting glucose. I saw a range of 80-130 on the CGM I used. I would get a Dexcom next time to see if there was more data available vs Freestyle. I am not sure what the Dexcom cost to buy is. Are you looking at getting one?
