I'm new here and been on trt for about a year now,
Inject ed 0.1 ml intra and i ran into a syringe shortage ...i normally use 29g 0.5 '' and started using a 30g with a really short needle and didn't really think much of it....but was actually injecting subq.
After about two days into it i started feeling horny as hell and erection quality was solid and i thought that after a year of use it finally kicked in(the erection part) and i noticed i was less confident, had more negative thoughts and anxiety and less of a motivation to go and get after it.
Now I'm back to intram injections and starting to feel confident again but i miss the erection part, can someone please help me understand what was going on when i did the subq shots?
I work out 3 to 4 times a week and eat fairly clean.

Welcome ChuckNorris.

If you search through the forums long enough, usually one describes the TRT protocol and labs archived on said protocol, you’ve provided neither.

Your thread isn’t going very far without this information.

TRT dosing is in mg, calculated by the volume (ml) and vial strength 100 or 200 mg strength. An example, .1 ml from a 10ml/100 mg vial is 10 mg, or 20mg if from a 10ml/200mg vial.

There has been some discussion that injecting into fat instead of muscle may cause more aromatization into estrogen, so perhaps that is what was going on, or vice versa depending on where you were injecting

Current thinking says this is plausible only if one were injecting ester-less testosterone; testosterone esters cannot be aromatized, and the esterase enzymes that cleave the testosterone are believed to act mainly in the blood. In other words, the testosterone ester must be absorbed—i.e. removed from fatty tissue—before it is made biologically active.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
