I know this is an old thread, but just wanted to say I started growth hormone often on and off about a year ago, but have been on steadily since May of this year. Reason being is I had a significant shoulder injury and read that taking growth hormone along with some healing peptides would accelerate the healing.
Anyway, as far as levels go – my natural IGF-1 level was 180. 1.2 units per day put me at 220. Overtime I kept increasing to three units per day but run two days on, one day off - which probably puts me in the low 300s.
I noticed significant muscle gain and fat loss taking this along with my regular TRT regiment of Testosterone and Nandrolone.
One thing to watch is fasting glucose. However, if I take it pre-, or post heavy weightlifting workout, there really no change at all. When I was taking it before bed, I would wake up with a fasting glucose above 100.
The current protocol I’m on seems to be doing me quite well.
I was watching a video with a well known Hormone consultant – Broderick Chavez and he said the proper dose should be about .1 - .2 units per week per total body weight in kilograms. Being 100 kg, using my current protocol is puts me right around 12 units per week which is fine.
I recently saw a video by a doctor at a antiaging clinic stating that growth hormone not only does not cause cancer, but it actually can be given to patients with cancer because of the higher molecular weight It cannot promote growth in the cancer cell. He mentioned that there was a study done in Russia and Finland, which confirmed this so, assuming this is true, this is great news.
As far as compared to taking growth hormone releasing peptides, it’s a night and day difference. The peptides didn’t do Jack shit, barely raise my IGF-I, and did not promote the healing, or fat loss at all compared to taking the real thing. I’ve heard this from numerous people as well.
I’m kind of torn because it works so well I don’t wanna go off and I don’t really see a reason to, other than saving some money.
