B12 and libido

Just wanted to share this, since the time I added b12 to my protocol and things got much better.
Current protocol
75mg once weekly sustanon
250-300 HCG EOD or E2D
FSH 75.

I have tried caber and many stuff which didn’t seems to help but up until now I am not letting this B12 go. It seems it’s increasing libido a lot,,, it is not a honeymoon period libido,,, yet it’s not bad like it use to be.
I don’t notice any effect on erection only libido. cialis is taking care of that part.
I am using a spray 12 or 16 times in one day. “Recommended is 4 spray below the tongue which =1200ug”

anyone had similar experience with B12 ?

What level was your B12 at, before you started a supplementing? Low B12 levels can hurt your libido.

You mean folic acid also can help ? I am thinking of supplementing it also. I noticed both folic acid and b12 are on defy test request. I am trying to finish the some test that require fasting to see them soon.

I am confused what is the difference between folate and folic acid ?
I need to make a test for folate is that the same as folic acid ?

For your purposes, they are the same. I have never supplemented with folic acid (B9) because I read it might be associated with an increased risk of cancer. Vitamin B12 has always worked quite well for me by itself to lower homocysteine and other benefits. Do you really need to worry about folate if you’re eating a balanced diet of non-processed food? I doubt it.

welp. Time to try out a methylated B Complex

I thought it would help even more. So supplementing folate is not really recommended ?

You can take both folate, or l-methylfolate, and vitamin b12 together if you want. I was able drive down my homocysteine level with using just injectable vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) after a few months. I shy away from supplementing with folic acid after reading it may be associated with a higher risk of colon cancer. And I think you get plenty of folate from an unprocessed, or whole foods type diet.

Vitamin B12 is another matter. I first tried oral methylcobalamin and it made me feel sick.

@tropicaldaze1950 had a similar experience with vitamin B12. Injectable cobalamin (1000 mcg, or 1 ml) is the way to go.
