FL Telehealth/med laws

Can someone please educate me on how TRT providers in FL get around the laws of providing controlled substance prescriptions (testosterone) to out-of-state patients? My understanding is that it's not legal under the Ryan Haight Act. It's also my understanding that there is proposed change to some of the current law, but that won't be voted on until 2020.

Really? So, being involved with something that may not be legal is ok with you? I guess we just have a different moral compass. To each his own.

So there is a chance that starting sometime in 2020, Defy will not be able to prescribe meds out of the state of Florida? If so, it would be quite nice and transparent of Defy to notify new patients. I left a local clinic in Washington State for Defy recently, and would really suck to have wasted the startup money of joining Defy. Planning a trip to Florida won't be easy for me with the distance and my crazy ass work schedule. Whatever, hopefully our gov't will come through for us this time.

This doesn't sound like something to discuss in a public forum
Why would this not be discussed in a public forum? This could potentially prevent the majority of us on here from working with Defy if I'm understanding the literature correctly. Between the FDA and DEA, I wouldn't be shocked if a lot of us had to go underground for our therapy in the future, but obviously hope I'm way off here.

I believe the quoted changes make it easier to do telemedicine, not harder.

It appears that the laws regarding access to telemedicine will be voted on next month if all goes well. I truly hope that you are correct though, telemedicine through Defy is so damn convenient.
