Reducing Testosterone Dosage

I was on 70mg of Testosterone Cypionate twice weekly + 750IU of hCG twice weekly. I was getting a lot of hair shedding and acne. I tried finasteride and got pretty bad ED that persisted after I stopped. I eventually recovered mostly but never fully. I don't need Viagra or anything but never got back to 100%. Anyway, because of balding and acne, I decided to try to lower my T dose to 60mg twice a week while keeping hCG at 750IU twice a week. It helped a ton with acne and hair shedding but my libido went down a lot. Should I stay the course and hope it improves? Maybe my receptors became sensitized to the higher dose and I need to just wait? Should I increase the T dose a little bit?

It shouldn't affect your libido but it could be a placebo effect? I would consider going down to 50 mg twice a week and lower your HCG to 500 twice a week. Your HCG may be what's give you acne unless you need it to remain fertile?

The hCG can cause acne, even more than TRT in isolation. I hope others read this thread for those considering the blue pill to solve their problems.

I think its the excessive testosterone that was causing your acne. 140 mg per week was a big dose of T, combine that with more T from 750iu of hCG twice a week and no wonder your having issues!
Yes, you definitely need to let your body re-adjust after saturating it with too much testosterone. This could take some time, months possibly, depending on how long you have been doing this. I would consider an even lower dose: 80 mg per week.

Everyone is going to have an opinion, so I’ll throw my two pennies in. If it were me, I would keep the dose at 60 mg twice weekly and drop the HCG lower, 250-500 IU once or twice weekly. HCG causes an exacerbation of estrogenic and androgenic issues in some men without some of the benefits that exogenous testosterone provides.

Viagra doesn't really help with libido
After years of not being able to tolerate even a small dose of tadalafil, I'm now finding that I am tolerating it with minimal side effects. 5 mg, daily, with food, not on an empty stomach, which is how I would always take it. And for me, it does increase libido. Always has, even when I tried it several years ago, accompanied by a headache and heartburn.

Why not drop the HCG for now and dial-in your cypionate dose? You can always add it back in later

Have you tried Stendra? Expensive but no sides for me. I was very sensitive to the others.

My tadalafil experiment is over. Though, after three days, I was enjoying more erections and increased libido, I began to experience prolonged spontaneous nose bleeds and I have no history of them. Had three episodes, yesterday. Also, the heartburn was miserable. When Stendra came out, my urologist gave me a sample pack. By the second day, I was extremely manic.

Started low dose cialis (5mg) a week ago, haven't started trt yet ( hopefully next week). Positive results so far, getting some morning wood, am also taking 3g of citrulline and AAKG each a day as well, so that might also be helping. Have read studies that say the low dose cialis helps raise testosterone to a degree.
