If you work through the math and characteristic times one can show that our best understanding does not support the statement that lowering SHBG under the constraint of constant exogenous T ester results in higher free T (as @Cataceous has so eloquently stated many times). Instead if you magically wave your SHBG wand and lower SHBG (or take some oxandrolone) the free T will stay the same and Total T will decrease (measured at peak or trough with accurate method).
