Every so often my creatin levels are elevated. This time it was at 3.2. The top of the range is 2.7 with lab corp. last time it was 2.1. Another time it was as high as 3.5. Another time it was 1.8.
my doc never even mentions it. My gfe or what ever its called should be over 59.. mine was 61. It was also in the mid 80’s and in the 70’s.
is this just because I lift weights?

Creatinine may be elevated due to drugs, kidney problems, or even supplementing with creatine. Yours is very elevated and you should talk to an actual doctor.

Do you work out? I have drawn blood hundreds of times and can confirm the theories that working out does in fact affect your creatinine levels. Once I had a leg day and then had a blood draw later that afternoon and it was the highest its ever been, about 1.8.

The better test for kidney function in my instance is the cystatin-c test. eGFR Calculator

It provides a clearer picture for people that are working out hard.
