Why checking the Delta 4-Androstenedione levels?

I don´t understand why my doc includes Delta 4-Androstenedione to my blood work. I never asked for it and I don´t even know what it is.
Anyone knows?

THX Vince! But after reading so many lab works here I never saw one that includes the above mentioned. Maybe my doc doesn´t know because I asked for DHT test.
