when to do blood work when taking testosterone injections?

Guess I just wanted to clarify since Defy email says to do labs before next injection. Does this mean that if you inject on Thursday evening that you should do labs on Thursday morning?

Maybe do labs Monday morning at 730 then inject immediately after? My injection Monday will be 1-2 hour late as I usually do it around 530-6 am.

Either one work?

No, do labs on Thursday evening before you inject or Monday morning before you inject. It's ok to be late injecting, on Monday.

I do...approaching 12hrs, esp if you're a low SHBG guy, could make a big difference in your TT. In this popular Mon AM, Thurs PM scenario, I would only pull labs on a Monday morning, and then inject. I don't think labs late in the day like Thursday night, is the best tactic.

Vince Carter's points are well taken. In my case, some years ago, 12 hours made a significant difference in the total testosterone value (I am low SHBG).

I float from 900-1000 these days, that's 48-51hrs post injection; 50mg EOD.

SHBG in the teens usually dictates a more frequent dosing routine.
