I've been thinking about doing this myself I haven't had a package stolen however someone tried stealing my low voltage lighting I put in around my house I think they thought they were solar until they realized they were all connected by a wire and my neighbor had a hanging flower basket stolen on mothers day and another had a bird bath stolen.
