What is an Alpha?

Hey, I don't want to hijack the "Danny Bossa Has Left The Building" thread, but I'd like to discuss the idea of the "Alpha Male". What do you think an "Alpha" male is? How does it relate to testosterone? Does it even really exist in Hoomans? Personally, I see lots of males clamoring to be some sort of "alpha", and very few that I respect.
My definition of an Alpha is one who is a servant leader. He is sure of who he is and is good with it. He doesn’t need to be the center of attention like some spoiled rich frat boy. He has confidence he can get that dream girl and then goes and gets her. People approach the Alpha leader, he doesn’t have to go and sell himself. This is a gift some are born with but it can be learned as I learned. True Alphas are rude and loud but are sure and reserved until leadership is needed and he steps in and up. This has nothing to do with T levels. It has to do with character and what you’re made of.
