Weight Gain on Doxazosin

Considering 1 mg doxazosin and wondering if anyone currently taking it at this dosage has experienced weight gain. I read it was a possible side effect. Thanks.

There's a huge thread about this medicine. It's in this forum on a different category. They will likely give you a first hand feedback.

Other things you can test is a full thyroid panel. IGF-1 gives me a huge appetite, and once with an anti inflammatory steroid. So likely medicine, stress, or thyroid.

That is a very safe and well tolerated medication. I prefer flomax but thats me.

also 1mg is a rather small dose of Dox

I take dox 1mg in morning and 1mg in evening. No weight gain.
