TRT with HCG improve fertility?

My husband has been on TRT for 1.5 years. We decided we want to try for a baby. He started taking 250units of HCG 2x week to get to regain sperm count. My question is will this help and if so, how long will it take? He was also RX'd clomid to take alongside the HCG. Is this a good idea?

Did I understand you to write that your husband is taking Clomid while simultaneously taking exogenous testosterone? If so, that is a mistake. They work at cross purposes with one another - to the extent they work with one another at all. It's one or the other, never both.
