TRT and immune response

On Monday I felt the best I have in years, focused, energetic, muscles were full and I had a powerful urge to go to the gym and workout hard.

It was only in the afternoon that it dawned on me that this usually means I have caught a particularly bad bug and my body has turned all its systems up to the max to try and fight off the infection. Sure enough I am sat here now tired and miserable and 3 days into a heavy cold.

I have noticed however that since I started TRT I do not succumb to as many colds as before. I used to catch at least 4 a year but in 20 months of TRT this is my first proper cold.

Have I just been lucky or does Test and HCG improve immunity?

From what I've heard too much test can lower immune response longterm and for some people it can cause the immune system to become confused and attack the body. I could be completely wrong though.

Understanding Your Hormones
