Trimix Newbie

My Doctor is writing a prescription for Trimix for me from Hallendale. I have not received it yet. The starting dose is .3ml. (I Think) will see when I get medicine. I have Easy Touch insulin syringes that are 30G 1mlCC and 5/16". How the syringe is marked is 10, 20, 30 etc up to 100 or 1ml. My question is if I have the dosage right at .3 do I fill up to the 30 mark? Also is the 5/16" needle OK?

The pills and troches do work so so me. My erections are at about 80 to 85% with the pills. And sometimes the percentage might be 70%

I keep reading about trimix and have a few questions and concerns. Me and my wife usually have sex once per week. Would injecting trimix once per week cause scaring? Does the dose have to be increased the longer you use it?

On this forum I have read some bad stories about trimix, going to hospital for erections lasting to long. That photo of that poor guy with his penis wrapped up with gauze.

I am 58 now happily married kids are out of house now, I dont want to have my penis stop working completely in a few years.

I have used Trimix for years with incredible success.

You will be fine on a once a week usage so no worries there. I have used it twice on one day and three days in a row with no problems whatsoever.

Your Doctor should walk you through your dosing and injection process. This is nothing to guess about and if your Doctor is not assisting you on how to conduct your injection procedure then you need a new Doctor.

Having to guess about the dosage and needle size is a bit concerning.

I'm just a few years older than you and started using trimix 3 months ago. I use Easy Touch 30 ga 1/2" 1 ml syringes which work just fine. Not sure about the 5/16" needle you mentioned but I'm sure others will chime in. Some say dosing is easier with a .5 ml or .3 ml syringe. I can see why and I might try those when I use up what I have - but you can definitely use 1 ml size with no problem. I wear a good pair of reading glasses when drawing so I can see the marks very clearly.

If you are concerned about priapism you will want to start small and titrate up until you find your sweet spot. That 0.3 ml you mentioned sounds very high to me but I'm not an expert. That's 30 units, and yes, that would be at the 30 mark on the barrel. As a comparison I am currently using 5 units and I get close to 2 hours out of that. 30 units would put me in the emergency room for sure!

Note that trimix is not all the same. It comes in different mixtures. Mine is 40/30/2. It came from Hallendale as yours will, but you will want to check the mix and start out on a low dosage. If/when you get a refill you'll want to make sure you get the same formula - or if not you will need to adjust dosage accordingly.

Have some real sudafed (behind the counter stuff) on hand just in case. It may help if you get a persistent erection.

Do NOT start with a dose of 0.3 ml !!!!! If the pills are giving you some response, 0.3 ml will send you to the emergency room for sure.

I started trimix almost 12 years ago at age 63 when I was no longer satisfied with my response from viagra. At that time a trimix dose of 0.03 ml kept me rock hard for a couple of hours. A dose of 0.12 ml send me to the emergency room. They took care of it with no subsequent effects.

I use a BD 31 gauge 0.3 ml 5/15" needle. Works great every time. Minimal discomfort from the injection. The small 0.3 ml makes it easier to measure the dose.

I usually use trimix about twice a week so probably more than 1000 injections with no evidence of scaring.

I have had to increase the dose gradually. 12 years ago, all I needed was 0.03 ml. Now I use 0.10 ml. That works just as well as it ever did - 100% reliable, rock-hard, long-lasting, never quits prematurely no matter what. Trimix is fabulous!!!

I couldn't agree more. Check Empower's forumula for Trimix & Super Trimix (basically 2x) and compare to your Dr's forumula. If comparable to regular Trimix, start with .06 cc (or .03 for Super Trimix). Better to proceed with caution & titrate up rather than a trip to the ER.

Ok, finally used my Trimix (40/30/2) and it is the real deal. My Dr prescribed 0.1 to start. I used 0.05 and I am glad I did. A 4 hour erection. At the 3 hour mark iced it and at 3 1/2 mark chewed on 2 sudafed. That brought it down at the 4 hour mark. Next time I will try 0.04 or 0.03.

Before I injected i was nervous thinking what am I doing sticking a needle in my penis. I could not believe how easy it was, no pain at all.

I have been married too the same woman for 31 years next week and she was totally satisfied. The pills and troches worked OK, but she said the trimix worked a lot better. My wife has a phobia about needles so I did not tell her before hand that trimix is injectable, just in case it did not work. I told her it was a pill. Well after our session I told her it was a small needle and her phobia is over when it comes to needles and trimix.

The funny thing was I was not even in the mood to do it, and neither was she. But I had a clear day today with nothing planed, so I said to myself today is the day to try it. I am glad I did because if I had something to do up to 4 hrs later I would have been walking around with a stiff one.

The only negative (if you want to call it negative) was the 4 hour erection. Me and my wife are older now and 4 hour sessions are long gone. I was staring to get a little nervous that a trip to the ER might be in order. If I can get 2 hours I would be very happy. I will work on the dosage and find the right one through trial and error.

Congratulations on your first successful experience with trimix! That's a very strong mix and it is a good thing you went with half of what your doctor recommended. I am using the same 40/30/2 mix and I find that 0.5 ml is good for 2 hours or a little more. I'm sure you will find your dosage after a little trial and error.

What syringes are you using? I'm using 30ga 1/2 inch 1cc syringes but some say that it is easier to measure small doses using a .5 cc syringe.

Leesto I am using 30ga 5/16 inch 1 cc syringes. I have 1/2 inch syringes but I chickened out when I thought about that 1/2" going into my penis. I use the 1/2 inch syringes for my HCG.
I had no problem with the 5/16" and must have hit the right spot.

I am going to order some .5 cc syringes because I just drew 0.03 for are next session later in the weekend and it was hard to see. Any quick ideas where to get .5 cc syringes online?

I've been using a 1/2" needle length but twice had no result. Both of those times were when my penis was shriveled and small. I suspect in that case the needle may go in to far. Nelson advises massaging it a bit before and after injection. A number of people have posted that they use the 5/16" length with no problems at all. I'll probably order 5/16 .3cc syringes next time but I have more than 100 of the old ones to use first.
