Orgasms on Trimix

I have been using Trimix injections for a few months. Initially my erections were too hard (actually painful) and lasted 4+ hours requiring pseudephedrine injections a few times to get them to subside. The ED doc has been lowering the dose to where I now only take PGE-3 (0.12 cc) with lidocaine (0.38 cc), I guess not Trimix any more as there's only one drug. Now my erections aren't painful (though still not quite like the old days, with some mild discomfort), and subside in about 3 hours.

The issue I have is that it's difficult for me to orgasm on Trimix. I initially thought it was because the dose was too high and my penis was too hard, but even now on a lower more appropriate dose I'm having this problem. Does anyone else have this issue? The ED doc kind of blew it off, saying I may have to jack off after intercourse to come like you see guys in porn movies do (!), though even that is harder to do on the Trimix, and while I can ejaculate there is little pleasure. Could the lidocaine being affecting this?

if anyone else has experienced this please share your thoughts and possible solutions. Thanks!

I've never used Trimix, but I'm sure others will chime. You should add more information age, weight any meds and labs. Are you on TRT?

Like Vince, I am not on Trimix, but I realize when a doctor is mistaken. You wrote you are consulting an "ED doc" - a urologist?

I am 58, 6'0" 200 pounds, and yes am on TRT and 3 blood pressure meds (none of which are said to directly cause ED). I work closely with local urologists so went to a "Men's Clinic" which is staffed by a family practice doc and PAs. I went initially for TRT, and got my testosterone level up from 290 to 900 using the cream. While I have a better beard and extra pounds get deposited in better places, I really don't think it's helped my performance. I never had a problem using Viagra, Cialis, but just went through a divorce and I'm finding it a bit harder to get back into the game. The clinic sold me on the Trimix shots, and while they give me a erection like a piece of ivory which impresses women, it kind of defeats the purpose if I can't orgasm and ejaculate. I'm just curious as to whether this is common and a price one has to pay to get hard with injections, or whether something else is going on. Thanks for sharing any experiences.

I have had a similar experience at times. Most of the time I find the trimix delays the climax (which is fine!) but occasionally there is no climax at all.

Sex is a complicated process influenced by many factors - the ability to get a good hard erection being just one of them. If the libido isn't strong, if we are physically tired or worn out, if there are emotional issues, if our hormones aren't well balanced: we can chemically pump up an erection with trimix but the other aspects of sexuality won't necessarily fall in place.

I did notice that the harder and longer and more painful the erection the longer the climax was delayed. Lower dosages which result in a one or two hour erection seem to have less effect on the ability to climax.

Note this is just anecdotal information from one user. I'm sure everyone's experience is different.

Are you on an AI, low estradiol causes a lot of problems. I believe most men on TRT shouldn't be on an AI.

I am on Norvasc, HCTZ, and Losartin. Thanks to everyone for your feedback. A few other questions I am curious about.....

Does anyone think Trimex makes one psychologically or physiologically dependent on the injections, so that sex on meds without Trimix becomes more difficult?

Since I am newly divorced and just getting to know other women, I have been hiding the fact that I use Trimix, at least initially. This has led to some amusing situations. Does anyone have similar experience trying to hide the fact they use Trimix?

In regard to the question of physical dependence, were you able to maintain an erection for a satisfactory length of time prior to the use of Trimix? If the answer is no, then you are, I would argue, already dependent on it. Quite simply, you need it, depend upon it, for successful sex. But that is what it's designed for.

Physical resistance, where an increased dose of Trimix is required over time to have the same effect, has been noted in a small number of men.

Yes. I first tried trimix more than 10 years ago after years of struggling with increasingly unreliable erections. I liked it so much that I have never tried sex without trimix since then even once!

Psychologically dependent? Yes. I prefer a 100% guaranteed long-lasting rock-hard erection over an erection that probably will not be hard enough for penetration.

Physically dependent? Yes. I am 74 yo. I don't think I could now ever penetrate without trimix.

For me, the choice is sex with a super-human erection or no sex at all. It's an easy choice.

I can almost always reach climax in a reasonable time, not as easily as when I was young, but more easily than when I used viagra.

In my case, adding HCG to my TRT not only increased my sex drive but also my penile sensitivity that is directly linked to orgasms on or off Trimix.

Cardiovascular medications can affect orgasmic quality or time-to-orgasms to a lesser degree than antidepressants.

I hear you Virginian. Thank you and others for your thoughtful comments. While I'm certain I'll get to your situation (if I'm not there already, and I am 16 years younger than you), I do think oral meds would be preferable to injections (convenience, more natural, easier to climax). I never had problems using meds with my wife, but since my divorce a year ago I have been hit or miss with meds dating, which could be for a number of reasons. The "Men's Clinic" strongly pushed the injections, and it certainly makes a better first impression with the ladies using them. Once settled in a relationship I would like to go back to oral meds if I could.

My question would be is it difficult to do this once a man starts using Trimix? Does anyone out there use both depending on the situation, and has no trouble going back and forth?

I have been using Trimix for a month now. I am also on TRT and now keep my T levels in the 800 range. My dose of Trimix is .1 and the erection last close to an hour. The ejaculation is delayed, but in most cases falls within 20 to 25 mins. after intercourse starts. This is a bonus for me and my wife. We are now looking at double ejaculations which might require me to increase my dose. Just a foot not. I am a very active 68, 6 foot one inch tall and 224 pounds. I take testrone injections every 3.5 days, and I am not a medical person.

Knicegi My prostate was removed in Nov 2014 and I've been on Trimix since May 2015. I take no other medications and yes without a prostate you can have a climax but there will be no semen. Clean up after sex is basically no clean up. I do get erections without Trimix but it takes too long and the erections are 100% but just not reliable. I do take some supplements and I find that the best herbal for more libido is Longjack or Tongkat Ali. I am not a doctor but I think that Lidocaine may decrease the pleasure.

I find that once my spouse is taken care of, if I take a 10 to 15 min break for a cold drink, then hit it hard again, that will normally do it for me. Otherwise, I've went for hrs, but not completing myself

2 other tricks I have learned
1. Don't eat for 4 to 6 hrs before intimacy. If erection persists an hr or two after, eat a sandwich while applying gentle pressure. Blood will divert to stomach for digestion purposes.
2. Fill 10 needles at a time. Freeze needles along with bottle. To thaw,, hold needle under tongue like thermometer. Ready in 8 -10 min

I want to learn more about the safety and application of HCG. I have some that tell me to stay away...but i may not be asking the right questions of my dialogue with it may be incorrect. I have difficulty having orgasms. I do use Tri-mix. It is very frustrating. I am 69, 168 lbs, in good shape, no meds other than .5 mg of Cialis and omeprazole. I have a KILLER sexy companion...but its very frustrating.

I'm a couple weeks away from being 68. I really like the results I get from HCG. I've been injecting 500 IU twice a week now for 8 years along with my testosterone protocol.

It doesn't hurt to try it. Hopefully you will benefit from HCG.

After a few years of struggling my orgasm ability has been stable and strong now for over 4 months. I tried everything under the sun to get it that way, and in the end I believe the primary factor was dropping HCG from 500iu 2x/week to 250iu 2x/week. I inject 102mg Cypionate weekly in 3 divided doses, and higher doses of Test also give me problems. The only other change I made between struggling and success was adding Zinc to my regimen.

A full dose of Trimix, which for me is .05 - .06, makes orgasm significantly more difficult or impossible for me. What works really well, though advised against by doctors, is taking 12.5mg of Vardenafil (half an oral disintegrating tablet, or a 20mg tablet from Indian pharmacy) and supplementing with .035 - .04 Trimix. This gives me the best of both worlds. I don't get that feeling like I have a piece of metal between my legs, I can stay hard for a long time, it goes away in a reasonable amount time when finished, and I can orgasm without difficulty. I've been using this method a couple of times a week for a few months now and couldn't be happier.
