So I bought and received some Viagra from a compounding pharmacy yesterday. I thought last night was a good night to try it so I took one 75mg Viagra pill. I'm not sure if that's the same potency of a regular 25 mg Viagra, but I figured it would be just fine. After some self stimulation I was able to get erect which has never been the problem, it's always been keeping the erection that's been the problem. So as a test after I was able to get erect I stopped self stimulating and sadly the erection went away. This was about an hour after taking the medication. I tried a few more times for the next hour and a half and the same result.
This is the 2nd time that I have been unable to maintain an erection on Viagra. My erection was normal, not hard and stiff as I had expected. I had eaten some pasta an hour before taking the medication so that could've been the reason it was ineffective, however I was expecting that it just slowed down absorption and not take away it's effects. Then I woke up in the middle of the night absolutely freezing. I had to get a hoodie and long wool pajamas on even though we're in the middle of summer here in TX. I thought perhaps this was a side effect that I had never seen on Viagra, but when i woke up I had a fever. I think I just caught a bad cold after going to a water park yesterday. Typically the only side effects I felt on Viagra was a headache, blue vision, and a stuffed nose so I doubt Viagra could give me this cold.
My Viagra came in a capsule form which I usually receive it in it's normal blue pill version however my insurance wont' cover it so I went the compounding pharmacy route. The point is I'm wondering why it's not working for me anymore. I used off and on in the past with no problems. I have no history of heart problems, no high or low blood pressure, no cholesterol issues. I'm wondering why this and my last pill never worked.
I bought some Ceebis a week ago, still waiting for that to come in, so I'm hoping that will be more ineffective. However, the fact that Viagra is not working is troubling. I've been having this issue since April/May after I was forced off HCG monotherapy from my wonderful, loving insurance company.
