Yes, I use it and have found it beneficial for my CFS symptoms. If you are going to try it I'd suggest sticking with a name brand, even though it's pricey. The d-ribose I've bought from bulk supplement suppliers doesn't seem the same.
The doc I see for CFS recommended Douglas Labs Corvalen to me, so that is what I started with. It is very expensive though, so next I tried Jarrow. That was comparable to the Corvalen in both texture, taste and smell. Then I tried Bulk Supplements, that was finer and seemed whiter to me, but the smell was about the same. Right now I have Nutricost and that is also finer and whiter.
Maybe there is nothing to it, and they are all okay, but I usually will start a new supplement with a name brand to gauge any benefit before trying something else.
Right now I only take 500mg of l-carnitine so maybe I'll try increasing that over the next few weeks to see if I feel better.
