Frustrated OM

New Member
Have been on TRT for 8 weeks and have seen zero improvement if anything my symptoms have gotten worse, libido is almost nonexistent, constant fatigue, zero and i mean zero energy, have gained 10 lbs in 8 weeks while being on TRT. my dosage is
80mg or .40ml twice a week for a total of 160 mg of Test CYP nothing ese in my TRT program.

Pre- TRT Total T was 369

8 week blood work:
TT 1130 ng/dl
FT 30 ng/DL
SHBG 28 ng/dl
E2 45

I cannot get another appt with my online prescriber for another 6 weeks, but at this point i am not sure I want to continue the same path for another 6 weeks.

I view it as malpractice to start someone on such a large dose of testosterone. This is not TRT. Replacement amounts would consist of 40-100 mg of testosterone cypionate per week in divided doses. Many guys do not fare well with such excess:

You're overdosed, too much T can be as bad as not enough. You better make certain all vitamins and minerals are healthy before undertaking TRT, especially iron, because TRT utilizes more iron to create more hemoglobin.

Ferritin and iron saturation is the gold standard for testing iron status.
