This just in regarding E2!

I just got off my phone with my Dr who prescribes my test pellets, I was concerned about my elevated E2, even though I have no symptoms. He said he just attended a seminar with some top dogs who now claim, unless the patient is experiencing "classic elevated E2 symptoms", nipple soreness, etc. there is no need to prescribe an AI, even with elevated numbers.

This is great news and makes me feel much better, just wanted to share it.

Great news...IMHO, guys get in more trouble with chasing AI dosing around than just about anything else involved with TRT.

One of the worst things I did in my TRT was getting sucked in to this mandatory .25mg EOD AI use and the fallacy of 21-30 E2 reading as "good". It was nothing but false for me and did me no good.

Like ERO and Vince, I am wary of Anastrozole. I have never taken it, but that is only due to the fact that I have a very suspicious doctor, one who questions just about everything. The received wisdom regarding E2 management is turning out to be highly dubious.

I used to believe this site to be anti AI because the most established members seem to be pretty outspoken against it. Then I realized they simply see it being prescribed too often and even when guys don't have elevated E2 or any symptoms. I will tell you, it was a life saver for me at one time, almost literally. The opposite is also true, and I've been like most guys on this forum in that I've tanked my E2 as well. I've learned .25 mg of an AI once a week is a necessary evil for me.

Once a week and it keeps you in sweet spot ? Did you maybe try 0.125mg TWO times a week ?

I have not tried .125mg twice a week. I suppose I can get them compounded in that amount, but I cut and then cut again the 1mg pills.
