This is the status quo attitude about half life

Lots of ignorance out there. Gotta just find a good doc or self treat. Simple as that imo.

Arrogant medical pros like that will do you more harm than good, and they are the majority.

Yeah, as a lower SHBG guy (22) as well I thought it left a lot of things out as far as what the protocol would do. Also their reasoning ignores the build up of t levels over time and also the spike in Estradiol that would come with a large dose at one time. But really I just posted this because of how smug they were in presenting the info. Yes, it is 4 yrs old so maybe they have changed the way they do things. However being a recent patient at Defy it seemed antiquated and cookie cutter. I recently spoke with a nurse friend of mine that said that the doctors office where she works is still doing it this way currently (200mg every 14 days).

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
