Small study using enanthate, but does a good job of showing how and why this is bogus... I also feel like I've seen this topic beaten to death on this forum. Lay persons and providers alike forget that sometimes it's not what you put in or how it behaves chemically, but how your body uses it and the changes it goes through in that environment.
It's copyrighted 2013 so I assume it was written at that time and it's not that far off from most beliefs ~four years ago, but that little paper there made my head hurt. As a low SHBG guy you'd really be in a world of hurt following any of that and it really appears that SHBG, of any value, was totally ignored.
Yeah, as a lower SHBG guy (22) as well I thought it left a lot of things out as far as what the protocol would do. Also their reasoning ignores the build up of t levels over time and also the spike in Estradiol that would come with a large dose at one time. But really I just posted this because of how smug they were in presenting the info. Yes, it is 4 yrs old so maybe they have changed the way they do things. However being a recent patient at Defy it seemed antiquated and cookie cutter. I recently spoke with a nurse friend of mine that said that the doctors office where she works is still doing it this way currently (200mg every 14 days).
