Response from Mr. Vergel
There is no proven way to prevent dementia and/or Alzheimer's (two very different pathologies, by the way).

However, having said that, there are inconclusive studies that have hinted at the fact that cognitive decline can be slowed down while aging by:

1- Exercise at least 3 times per week for an 30 minutes.

2- Learn a foreign language or some new skills as time goes by.

3- Play Sudoku or other brain/concentration games (crosswords, etc).

4- Keep your blood pressure and blood sugar in control.

5- Manage or treat your depression.

6- Prevent vitamin B deficiency.

Here is a review of current studies:

I hope this helps!

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
