Testosterone regular vs Testosterone LC/MS assay

My questions is on the standard test it won't show your total test level if it's above 1500. But will it give you an accurate free test number? The price difference between these two test is significant. Any input would be appreciated.

Free T is always a calculation based on Total T/Albumin/SHBG, aything else is close guess but there's not a solid number you can get on a test for Free T. I haven't seen any difference in the Total Testosterone tests myself.
