Hello I am Eddy and I have been taking 0.4cc of testosterone cypionate injections for 8 weeks (twice a week). I have recently been experiencing some side effects which is causing major discomfort:

redness under my breasts
redness & sensitivity of testicles
when i urinate I get a burning sensation
very thirsty (drinking alot of water)

Is there medications I can take to reverse or prevent the effects I listed above? Please help.

What labs were run prior to starting TRT, and what were the values? You have been on therapy for eight weeks - have you had follow-up labs run to monitor your response? What is your dose of testosterone - how many mgs per injection?

Get your physician to check for any fungal infections on your red areas. I would also test for UTI and sexually transmitted infections.

Hi - not sure if this the correct thread for this question, but I am 62 and I had been having ED issues for some time and very seldom getting full morning wood. Went to a urologist and he tested my T level and said it was very low at about 100. Started taking T-Cypionate injections 200 mg every 2 weeks. After 2 months, T level went up significantly and slight increase in morning wood, but my forehead was getting oily and started getting some acne. Then I noticed my hair was getting oily and thin and that spooked me. No insult to anyone who is balding, but I like having a nice head of hair at my age. Yes, it's receding and thinning naturally, but I don't want to accelerate the process. Is there a T treatment that does not cause acne and balding? Thanks

I hope your doctor tested prolactin. Your T level was very low. Do you actually know your value and why it was so low? Are you taking any medications like opiates or anticonvulsants?

I would split your dose to 100 mg per week (0.5 cc).

Yes, TRT can increase skin oil production. Some men lose some hair but it is rare in men over 40.

Here is a good read:

Thanks Nelson, I will check out the link below. My Doc didn't mention prolactin, but I will ask him about it. Not sure why my T level is so low, but my brother also has low T. I take a beta blocker and a vasodilator for high blood pressure. Also an acid reducer (famotidine). Nothing else but vitamins and some supplements.
