Testosterone Crash Electrical Storm

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some insight or shared experiences from anyone who has gone through a severe nervous system hyperexcitability flare following a messy hormonal transition and medication change.
Here is my exact timeline and situation:
  • Hormone Timeline: I stopped my original TRT protocol about 4 months ago. I briefly used enclomiphene right after, but had to stop it almost immediately due to developing severe, intense muscle cramps.
  • The Crash: I went about 2 months completely clear of all therapies. Then, the systemic symptoms (widespread twitching, severe post-exertion spasms and fatigue) hit me hard.
  • Current Status: To combat the crash, I am now back on TRT (just did a small restart dose of 2.5 yesterday), which has immediately triggered muscle fullness and intense tightness
  • Structural Context: I have a confirmed severe C7 nerve root impingement in my neck (probably from keeping my same routine after stoping TRT). My baseline needle EMG, CK levels, and Neurofilament Light (NfL) blood test all came back completely normal.
Current Symptoms:
  • Widespread, diffuse fasciculations at rest across my body (calves, buttocks, chest, arms, face, neck).
  • Severe "post-exercise hyperexcitability." If I do light activity (like a Peloton ride or a one-legged yoga stand), that specific muscle group explodes into tight spasms, tingling, and pain afterward, making it very hard for the muscle to relax.
  • Intense jaw tension/clenching that leads to extreme jaw fatigue.
Has anyone experienced this type of profound peripheral nerve hyperexcitability storm after an explicit TRT → Enclomiphene → 2-month cold turkey crash sequence, especially while stepping off nerve-calming medications?
  1. How long did it take for your nervous system and muscle membranes to finally stabilize once you got back on a steady TRT baseline?
  2. What did you do to successfully manage the post-exertion spasms and resting twitches while your hormones leveled out?
I really miss working out properly and am trying to find a path to stabilize this electrical storm. Any insights on timelines or recovery strategies would be incredibly appreciated. Thanks
