Test Results came 8 weeks after starting TRT , please help

Starting to feel better but not great. I feel like I felt real good the first couples weeks on it.. then slowly not as good. I was always lethargic and that seems to have gone away but my energy levels aren't great either.

Yes 100mg a week and no AI (also checked if AI was compounded in the cypionate but it is not.
Are you taking your 100mg of testosterone in a single, weekly dose, or is it being delivered in divided doses? And, you are testing just before your injection?

I am taking 50mg of testosterone every 3.5 days. So Monday morning and Thursday night.
For these tests I injected 50mg on Monday and tested on Thursday morning 8am.

I think the best trough is likely monday morning just before injection. Doing it Thurs morn is not quite the bottom of the trough. And labs like to take blood for testosterone labs before 8:30am at most clinics.

you should ask for a full thyroid panel....FT3, FT4, Antibodies, & TSH. The TSH alone does nothing.

I called into the Doctor office to get the lab numbers in case the Dr didnt know them and they gae me the FT3, FT4 and the TSH. But they said "antibodies" is the FT3 and FT4. Does this sound correct? Or is there another test I need?

They're wrong...the antibodies says something like TPao Antibodies something like that, separate test entirely. They also don't appear to have given you all the tests like Reverse T3.

You don't need T3 and T4 you need FT3 and FT4 (the F means free)

I just got back my results for Thyroid panel, thoughts?

TSH, Antibodies, T3, T4, Free T3, Reverse T3...I think that's that top five you should ask for.

Yeah your Free T3 is below range. Getting your FT3 into the upper range will improve your life immensely. If your suffering from depression or feel just blah you now know why. Your condition is referred to as Euthyroid sick syndrome. Google it.

Not questioning you but this is the note from the Dr.

From the doctor : the t3 values are just out of the normal range and are not significant. Note this is not the same as Low testosterone where a low score can be problematic.

That's why there are good hormone MD's and poor hormone MD's. I went thru the same thing until I went and saw a hormone specialist. Hormone specialists are usually private MD's that do not take insurance etc. They are not governed by the pitfalls of hospital administration. When my specialist saw my FT3 was low he put me on cytomel immediately and I felt so good afterwards that I realized I had been living in a state of depression for years. Your MD is wrong and you need to find another MD who specializes in hormones... like our site sponsor Defy.
