i am 59 years old and 6 ft, 170lbs, do not smoke and have never been on any meds- I had my T level checked and it was a low norm at 324. i would like to increase my t levels to improve my mental focus and energy levels. I do not want to increase any long term health issues by doing this- would you be okay with a wellness t supplement plan to supplement my aging process.

Hi Vercer, Welcome. I am 64 and on TRT.

Are you talking about over the counter T booster pills? If so they are pretty much snake oil I would save my money.
There's lots of rules your doc probably did not tell you about when checking your natural T lvl.
Stuff like no sex, masterbation, or strenuous exersize for 48 hours. Draw blood early morning 7-9AM.

A good exersize program, a few supplements and a high protein diet can go along way to increasing your natural T.

If you need meds I would look into HCG shots to boost your natural production. You do them twice a week not the doc.

I was 62 and had almost the same T levels. I'm 64 in 3 months, much like FL. Natural boosters don't work, save your money. Getting on TRT was one of the smartest health decisions I have ever made. I'd suggest you see a TRT specialist for a consult and make an informed decision. I have been on TRT since June 2016. No HCG, or AIs as yet. For me, they haven't been needed. 100 mg of test cypionate was the starting dose and I inject once per week. I occasionally bump it up to 120 at times. It's actually less expensive than those T boosters and it actually works.

Combine it with an exercise routine using resistance exercises. TRT alone is ok, but not nearly enough to get you where you want to be.I'm biased about it, but it is safe, effective, inexpensive if you have insurance, and it actually works. Strength, health, good sex... what's not to like?

What's the T supplement plan. Exercise, sleep and eat healthy, I would say that's a good plan for everyone.
