Swollen/numb hands

many of us have some weird reactions the first few injections or few weeks, ride it out, track if it get's worse, etc etc
There's no reason TCyp should cause any numbness/tingling, read up on parasymtpathetic(?) responses.

I am on Deletestryl (Test E) 100 Mg every Two weeks

Regardless of your hands, you are very unlikely to feel well on a once every 2 week injection schedule due to the half life of the drug. Plus, 100 mg per week is only a replacement dose, so you are basically taking what amounts to 1/2 of a replacement dose of Testosterone. A far better dosing schedule would be 50 mg every 3.5 days. Say Monday AM and Thursday PM

I considered this but isn't the half life of Test E like 10.5 days...but I think you're right, too.

Test E has a 4 to 5 day half life...the injection is placing you on a hormonal roller coaster.

100 mg every two weeks won't have any long term effect in increasing serum concentration levels at such a low dose and injection schedule.

100 mg per week in two doses of 50 mg would be more ideal.

Not sure your Physician understand TRT in men or they'd know this.

It's a start. I have to do more blood work a week after my first shot. so see where my Test levels are and then maybe re-evaluate the doses and frequent of the shots.

You need 6 weeks before next blood work. But it make no difference; in two weeks your levels are going to be very low due to the two week injections...it's not "a start"...it's all wrong and a waste of money.

Numbness of hands can be related to carpal tunnel and /or neck vertebra issues with a pinched nerve. Sleeping on your side can also cause this but not in a permanent manner. I have never seen anyone have edema of their hands after one shot (actually, I have never seen hand edema period).

That's strange. I have never had numbness in my hands until I took my first shot

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
