Swimming After Injection

Do injections increase risk of infection if swimming soon after in the ocean, lake or pool, or does the hole close up fast enough that it's not a concern?

It's never been a concern for me. Once I inject I'll dive right in.

I would be more worried about getting eaten by a shark

Well, part of my concern is I have very slow wound healing right now...still figuring out why, and I wasn't sure if it would be a concern otherwise either.
