spitting cialis troche for daily use

I can get 80mg cialis troche (designed to split into 4)from my doc. It is actually from a compound pharmacy and they will only sell in that dose at lower cost.

I want to use low dose daily. I was thinking about 3-5mg. To do this, I was going to weight it with accurate scale, turn into powder, do the math and then cap into either 3 or 5mg.

Does anybody know if this will work as its a troche?

The troche's are formulated for sublingual absorption for a faster response.

Why not just take it that way and save yourself the time of grinding into a powder and capping pills?

Because I want low daily dose. I could split into 4 and then split into another 4, but I have no idea if its brittle and will shatter.

You'd have to try one to be sure, but if its already designed to split into 4 you may be fine to then cut each of the 4 pieces in half again. In other words, its gotta be somewhat malleable to let you split into fourths so its *probably* not terribly brittle.

I get the 25mg Tadalifil troches from APS Pharmacy (via Defy), and quarter them for daily dosage (6.25mg/QD). The troches are soft and waxy in composition, so cutting them into quarters with a sharp knife is doable, but anything smaller than that is going to be extremely difficult, if not impossible.

That being said, I really love the troches. They're expensive, but are easy to slip under your tongue and dissolve. They taste pretty good too!

Got it awhile ago, but forgot about this thread. It's waxy, but cutable using exacto knife. I took my 1st 5mg tonight.

Troches from Defy are PERISHABLE! Must pay for overnight shipping. Must have someone home when they arrive. If shipped to a PO box like mine were just toss them in the trash.

Mine are similar, but not as perishable as yours. Directions says to keep refrigerated. The small pieces will melt in my fingers.

5mg a day has greatly reduced night time urge to pee multiple times and pumps are great.


Cutting it into small little pieces reminds of when I used to cook crack lol.....that was a long time ago.....

You can get pills cheaply and easily here: http://www.safemeds4all.com/ or liquid Cialis from a research chem site even cheaper. Cutting troches 'works' but is kind of a science project.
