So, got a Doc that's very open minded...

So, I've finally found a young, open minded Urologist that reads info I bring him and is giving me options and letting me sort of control the path my treatment takes.

I'm currently on 25mgs test cyp every 3.5 days and 250ius of HCG EOD. Only 25mgs EOD because it seems that I respond VERY easily to test injections. Bloods taken right before my next shot are always in the 700-800 range.

The last two bloods though showed E2 in the upper 50's. Doc wants those levels to sit between 20 and 30. He prescribed Arimidex and gave me a few options. Wanted to see what the populace here thought of the options.

1. Continue Test as is and HCG as is and add .25mgs Arimidex on Test shot days. So a total of .50mgs of Arimidex per week split into two doses on shot day.

2. Continue Test as is but go to 500ius HCG every 3.5 days with my Test shot and add .25mgs of Arimidex at the same time. Taking all medications at once.

His thought process is that E2 rises with Test shots and taking .25mgs Arimidex will help to keep E2 in check during the rise of Test without tanking me below the 20 mark on E2.

Thought process on HCG is that it will make it easier to take all medications twice per week and HCG will still keep the testicles healthy with 2 doses per week at 500iu's.

Thoughts?

Are you certain that your estradiol was measured with the sensitive test (LC/MS,MS)? If it wasn't, it would be a big mistake to rely on the value generated.
