Sildenafil Question

Frequently I see on here where guys have included 2 or 5mg of Cialis once or twice a day as part of their regimen. Is there any reason this can't be done with Sildenafil? I understand there are big differences in how long they stay in your system.

I can get Sildenafil 100mg prescribed easily and can break them up fairly easy in rough pieces. Whereas it's not the same with getting Cialis prescribed. Right now I don't want to purchase Cialis from international sources.

If I read correctly it may help with my work out sessions as well.

Just curious. thanks

You can certainly drop whatever dose preworkout and use it that way but most people wouldn't find it conducive to dose it so many times a day with it's ~4hr window.

One of our guys I know he's said that he drops a 50mg preworkout. I have liked using 5-10mg tadalafil as a workout aid but Im susceptible to some of the back pain sides that come with Tadalafil so I tend to avoid using it with any regularity.

I think I'm going to try it. I don't really need the Sildenafil for ED any longer. I've started back to the gym the past 6 weeks or so. My first goal is to drop weight and then work on toning. I don't need big muscles, but want to be tone.

When I first started I was doing more weights than cardio and wasn't dropping any weight. I've since changed to cardio primarily the past month or so and have dropped 10 pounds.

I don't figure it will hurt anything.

Vince the Nitric Oxide Stack is for building mass? I've read Gene Devine's post on his stack and I assumed it is for that reason. Is this what you follow?

NO is a blood flow thing, same reason you're talking about Sildenafil...blood flow, blood vessel dialation, "pump" in your muscles (which you don't seem to be concerned for), its not about "mass". If you're going to concentrate on cardio it (NO and/or Sildenafil) can help with endurance.

tip: take it on an empty stomach or you can have delayed or inhibited absorption. I prefer sublingual to avoid that kind of problem, tablet will dissolve right under your tongue, give it 10-15 and wash it down.

Regardless of adding an NO booster, the pump is mainly attained through higher rep/shorter rest periods and if one is training to add mainly strength/increased muscular density that will happen through lower rep/longer rest periods using heavy weights performing compound exercises and the pump is irrelevant to this style of training as it has not relation to CNS stimulation. Sure adding in a pde5 inhibitor pre workout will increase blood flow and enhance the pump but only if one is using higher rep/shorter rest periods otherwise it is not worth your time. As far as adding muscle mass ( quantitative ) muscle which if you are talking sheer size one would have to be in a calorie surplus and eating moderate/high carbohydrate diet as carbs are stored as glycogen in the muscle tissue and for every gram of glycogen stored in the muscle roughly 3 grams of water is pulled along with it increasing muscle fullness/size/increased pump/improved recovery/endurance and training intensity aiding in strength/ muscle mass gains. LOW CARB=FLAT MUSCLES. Training when following a low carb diet vs moderate/high carb is like night /day......................GUARANTEED you will always be bigger/stronger and have fuller muscles when consuming moderate/high carb intake into your diet. Sure you can look amazing and be lean strong and fit following low carb but by no means will you ever add any APPRECIABLE MUSCLE MASS GAINS!

I'm just reporting what happens to me, and as you know I'm a low carb guy.

Yes Vince and I do respect that and you definitely are an example of being lean/fit/strong and healthy attributable to following a low carb diet combined with your training and having optimal testosterone levels as it suits your body type although I know you could be a lot bigger if you ate carbs but that is of no importance as you look great!

I'm in the same camp as Vince. That is, in order to maintain my health I must eat low carb. But then I'm a type II diabetic.

I do gain muscle mass on a low carb diet. Clearly it is a fallacy that you can't gain muscle without carbs. Perhaps we'd gain muscle more rapidly if we added carbs but it isn't worth the health trade-off to me.

Anyway, it just shows we're all different. It's good to experiment and keep good records so one can learn what works best for oneself.

Diet is certainly one of those areas of life where everybody has an opinion! My wife is a nurse yet she eats a lot of breads, pastas, grains, starches and sweets. She weighs only 102 lbs. Go figure. It is a diet which almost put me in an early grave yet she tolerates it pretty well.
