The gold standard test for oestradiol is the 'sensitive' oestradiol test. E2 is measured using liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC-MS).
I am pleased to inform you that our patients now have access to this test here in the UK. Managing oestrogen isn't that difficult using Testosterone Enanthate and HCG, however, a small percentage of guys do seem to struggle, so the LC-MS technique can help us diagnose / treat E2.
Here at The Men's Health Clinic we concentrate on qualitative symptoms often using quantitive markers to confirm what we already know. Having access to the 'sensitive' E2 test can provide some needed assurance in some of the more challenging cases.
