Resistant Hypertension....Any Ideas?

Seeking input from this great site of knowledge and experience- I am 52 yrs old, 6'1" and 220 lbs. Lift seriously in gym 3x week and in overall good health/ shape. I have been on TRT for 10 yrs with no complaints and manage well ("dialed in" I guess one could say) for me. I have suffered with primary hypertension since finding in my early 20's, and never have been able to get my BP under 140/ 80's or so even on prescribed medications.
I have tried Lisinopril (but had the throat tickle/cough), Atenolol in the early days, Amlodipine, and tried HCTZ diuretics and did not tolerate well ( ED and swelling feet). currently on 40 mg Benicar (ARB)- maxxed out. Primary doc now added 4mg of Doxazosin in addition to the 40 mg Benicar, and I have been monitoring BP= now at 150's over 80's and as high as 186/ 85 several times. I also take daily 5 mg. Cialis with no issues.
I am hoping someone has some experiences to report or knowledge of successful med combinations, etc.? I do not want to use diuretics again if possible, but see that studies for Resistant HTN show a med protocol of and ARB, Calcium Channel antagonist, and Thiazide diuretic cocktail are recommended.
Any thoughts or experiences welcome!

Reviews of flaxseed claim it can reduce systolic pressure by 20 points and diastolic by 10 points - the effect is probably due to Omega-3. Flaxseed is also a laxative and can reduce cholesterol:

Seems that everyone reacts differently to these meds. Might be time to see a cardiologist and find out what is going on.

Low sodium, fasting and sauna, sunlight, pharmacology, sleep and meditation.

I agree with Big Tex. You need a specialist to see if something is going on with your kidneys, or other systems that regulate your BP. If the meds you reference aren't working at those dosages, you are beyond supplements and "natural" methods. If those are your average levels, your stroke risk is high. Keep digging. Good luck to you!

Thanks for all the responses so far....I agree that perhaps a specialist-type visit may be in order for the future just to dig further. I am seeing that sodium does affect my readings for a good day or two (like after I have Chinese fare), and I need to get my sleep in order= I have an Oura ring that shows my 02 levels are perfect/ no apneas, but my sleep indicates LOTS of movement and broken patterns, plus very little DEEP sleep/ REM levels reached. I typically get 6hrs or less sleep per night which I am sure is not helping.
