Hello, I was wondering if any of you have noticed an improvement (reduction/shrinking) of gyno/chest fat while on TRT and anastrozole? Thank you.

Anastrozole was able only to reduce my gyno to a certain point (my estradiol was a little high and anastrozole was added to bring it down to optimal levels). In my situation Tamoxifen was needed to get rid of it. I recently started tamoxifen to get rid of a lump gyno on my right nipple and the lump is almost gone. There was a study showing 100% effectiveness in elimination lump gyno with the use of tamoxifen (less effective for the fatty type)

Did you take Tamox with Ana at the same time? And how much Tamox were you taking and for how long before you started seeing results?

I developed some gyno on the right side prior to TRT. It's not major, but it's always bugged me. And it does get tender at times. I'd love to reduce it, even if I can't totally eliminate it. Would love to learn more about your experience, as I've read that Tamox is the choice for gyno reduction in bodybuilding circles.

I'll have to discuss with Dr. Saya and get his thoughts too.

I had gyno when i was around 20yo and at the time i used 20mg tamoxifen for 3 months and it was gone (lump gyno). Now while on TRT i got gyno after a few months of starting it (my estradiol was over 40...). Anastrozole to get estradiol levels where they need to be. And again 20mg tamoxifen a day. From my experience you should start to feel some relief after 1-2 weeks but might take a few months for it to complete dissapear (if your gyno is not too old or not responsive to tamoxifen). From my experience you should keep taking it for sometime after it is gone and reduce dose progressively (20->10->5) to avoid the gyno to come back. Also you have to make sure you estradiol levels are ok after you stop tamoxifen.
also you need to remember that anastrozole and tamoxifen act differently. Anastrozole reduces the aromatization of testostorone into estrogen and tamoxifen blocks the estrogen receptors at the breast (and problem other places)
