Short of it is, 5 - 6 years earlier, I was diagnosed with severely low T. My free count was in the 60s and my overall was 124.

The began me on a compounded T application that looked like white paste. Rub it on forearms, legs, wherever - just not the scrotum. (Their words)

2 months later my levels were up to 250. Changed from a dosage of 5, to 10. Counts went up to 350'ish. Then upped all the way up to 20 and counts shot up through the roof - 450 to 500.

Problem is, it looked like I stuck an airhose up my butt as I was swollen from toes to ears.

Stopped treatment, went back later to 10 and resumed.

Since this time I have been off and on and will resume again today as my current count is 274.

Here is the thing. I read through post after post after post here and almost everyone has the same "Created a new monster" type of response. Edgy, charging, aggressive, great stuff.

For me, it has almost done nothing. I literally have almost no drive, spice - nothing. I feel as run down on it as I do off of it and am desperate to find out what went wrong and where.

I can assure you, I have a LOT of learning to do. Almost everything you wrote there came across to me asEgyptian hieroglyphs.

I also think my family Dr. is a little over his head at the moment as the only thing he is dialed in on is my A1C numbers and testosterone numbers.

You're GP is just no good, that's all it is. Inspite of smearing yourself with cream and your Estrogen skyrocketing, you said you were swelled up (i.e., water retention), and you never got good T numbers, 400-500 is not through the roof nor is it anywhere close to good, though it is better than you were in that single regard. But your mismanaged care negated much of that.

You've not realized the benefits of TRT because you are working with a doctor who doesn't understand contemporary TRT protocols. In point of fact, a sizeable number of men are unable to boost their testosterone to a good, healthy level via transdermals. I was one of them. After a good-faith, three month effort, my doctor and I switched to injections and it's been a great ride ever since. What test results do you have? Can you post your total and free testosterone, shbg, thyroid panel, estradiol/sensitive assay? That will generate more discussion, and offer you some things to think about, but, frankly, without a doctor who understands how this works your unlikely to find what your looking for.

You need a doctor that is up to speed in order to have any chance of success with TRT. There is no "good enough." My 2-cents - call Defy Medical and get a consult with them ASAP.
