Honestly this is a really common complaint with lidocaine sprays, but in most cases it's a technique issue rather than the product. A few things that made them actually work for me: - Spray the underside of the glans/frenulum area, not the whole shaft. That's where the densest nerve endings are. - 3-4 sprays, then wait a full 10-15 minutes before anything happens. If you rush it, it hasn't kicked in yet. - Wipe off the excess before penetration, otherwise it transfers and numbs your partner too. That kills the mood fast. - A condom on top of the spray helps a lot - extra desensitizing plus it prevents transfer. I use a lidocaine spray from a Pakistani brand, Knight Rider Spray (knightriderspray.pk) - works well for me with the routine above. The wipes never did much for me either; sprays are far more consistent in my experience. Worth pairing with pelvic floor work too. The spray is a great tool, but the behavioral stuff is what changes the reflex long-term.
