Here i am going to share some sign of over training in Tacoma gym
1. You repeatedly fail to complete your normal workout.
2. You're losing leanness despite increased exercise.
3. You're lifting/sprinting/HIITing hard every single day.
4. You're primarily an anaerobic/power/explosive/strength athlete, and you feel restless, excitable, and unable to sleep in your down time.
5. You're primarily an endurance athlete, and you feel overly fatigued, sluggish, and useless.
6. Your joints, bones, or limbs hurt.
7. You're suddenly falling ill a lot more often.
8. You feel like crap the hours and days after a big workout

Yes, yes, yes...and yes.

Here's an article I found before looking at your post: http://www.precisionnutrition.com/minimal-exercise

I came to the realization that I need to monitor my energy levels and prioritize my activities. I like to have a training mentality when I workout so, I'm used to banging it out at the gym. But, I started to feel that other areas in my life were being compromised, like, productivity at work, and brainstorming ideas to grow my business. Hopefully, someone will chime in on how much energy (in glucose and atp) our brains use up but, mental fatigue is hard to overcome, even when you're already lying between a barbell and a bench with Korn blasting through your headphones and redbull running it's course through your digestive system.

I've changed my routine. I now do 3 to 4 workouts a day but moderate intensity and never longer than 10-12 minutes. For example - 12 minutes on a treadmill at 5% incline - 1 minute 3.0 mph, 2 minutes 3.5 mph, 1 minute 3.0 mph, 1 minute 4 mph and so on. Would 3 to 4 a day still be considered over-training?

It takes a LOT of exercise to overtrain. I would be very very very surprised if 99% of guys were even coming close.. the workout above seems more like under training.
