In the past, the recent past, it was possible that a LabCorp site far from NYC might honor a lab order from Discountedlabs.com (or any of the other self-test services). I was fortunate to encounter no resistance in Amherst, NY. That is no longer the case. A call to that LabCorp center indicated that the legislative ban is, indeed, being honored at all their facilities statewide.
I can go over the state line to Pennsylvania; not everyone is so lucky. It might be worth a phone call, see if your LabCorp center is onside, but this is not good news.
