Not feeling better on TRT + Thyroid problems

SHBG range (16.5-55.9) so the mean (mid-range) is 36.2 nmol/L.....yours is 36.1 nmol/L so definitely not low nor lowish.

You just recently switched your protocol roughly 4 weeks ago.....lower dose of testosterone 80mg/week (40mg every 3.5 days) added use of an aromatase inhibitor(than dropped it roughly 2 weeks ago)..... we have no idea where your TT and more importantly FT and e2 sits until you have blood work done after 6 weeks.

For all we know your FT may be too low on 80mg/week testosterone?

Yeah I 'feel' my FT is low on 80mg. Am going back to 90mg. Stopped Arimidex too. It always causes me shortness of breath. (Reducing red blood cell count is one of its side effects.) I started DIM and calcium d-glucarate.

DIM and glucarate seem to be working. I have much less tolerance for nonsense now, although it seems like I've got "roid rage". Also licorice tea gives me heart palpitations. Have to be careful.

I believe licorice is estrogenic.

I write back here instead of in different threads. It's been about a month I've been shooting propionate EOD and it's been working well, better than cyp. I took calcium d-glucarate for a while and then stopped as it seemed to cause me fatigue. (May have a different reason though, see below.)

It's been a few days I've been taking 3mg of boron and 100mg of DIM everyday. Last night I seemed to have a hot flash. I woke up around 2 am soaked in sweat. Webmd.com says both boron and DIM "can act lie estrogen" so I'm at loss with these natural E2 reduction methods.

My biggest health problem is still my sleep and it affects others for example weight gain, low libido, etc.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
