I'm 32. I started having severe symptoms of absolutely no libido, irritability, sleep is decent (wake up anywahere from 2-5 and have trouble getting back to sleep which started after the depression and anxiety started) depression, anxiety, extreme fatigue in late May. A friend of mine talked me into getting my blood work done. The endocrinologist diagnosed low T and high prolactin. I started 200 mg weekly injections and 1 mg arimidex everyother day. My concern is, the high prolactin level. It's 19.5 out of 3-15 scale. Should I be worried about a tumor? Could this be causing my low T? I have never had issues with anxiety and depression in the past, my endocrinologist believes is from the low T, I didn't even know what was going on until I went to my primary doctor. I had a spinal cord injury in 2006, and I didn't even have issues then. I workout 4-5 days a week, eat moderately clean. Will the low T and arimidex decrease my prolactin? I had read that high prolactin can cause the same symptoms as low T.
I posted my labs above.
I'm sort of freaked out by all of this rightnow, it's a bit overwhelming.

Yes, you should be worried about a tumor and so should your Doctor crying out loud.

Someone your age with low androgen levels and elevated Prolactin levels should have an MRI done to rule out an Adenoma.

Don't worry, these are always begin and taken care of with Meds.

You should never started TRT until all other pathologies are ruled out as it's not normal for a man you age.

Discuss this with your Doctor, tell him you suspect an Adenoma and get a second opinion from a trained Physician.

If you correct the problem your natural serum levels will return as you are too young to be on TRT for the rest of your entire life.

I called and asked him about the high prolactin and he said if i'm not lactating then everything is fine. I called my initial endocrinologist and am waiting for a call back regarding a 2nd opinion of possible pituitary tumor.

Your Doctor is a freaking nut!

Get the second opinion as soon as you can.

"Not lactating than everything is fine..."

FIRE HIM!!!
